Laboratory Air Knife Coater

It is intended to coat the sample sheet materials in 10” X 12” size.This coater provides uniform coating of the coating medium on to the test specimen. The laboratory coater is eminently suitable for the coating of latex, ink, lacquer and plastic dispersions etc.

A sample of standard size should be fix on the top of the movable steel plate,   The height of the air knife above the test specimen and its angle in relation to test specimen are adjustable. The amount of air that regulates the coating layer is adjusted by the regulator and the coating dispersion or pigment formula is poured close the air knife across the paper. A uniform coating on the sample is formed with the help of forced air.
